Destination Health FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask most about the app.

What is Destination Health?

Destination Health is an iPhone workout app for beginners over 35. It builds a simple training plan around your week and adjusts your next session after every workout, based on how it felt.

Who is it for?

Adults who are new to training, short on time, or coming back after a break. You do not need any gym experience.

Is it free?

Yes, Destination Health is free to download and use on iPhone.

Do I need equipment or a gym?

No. When you set up the app you choose where you train: at home with no equipment, at home with dumbbells or bands, or at a gym. The plan only uses exercises that fit your choice.

How long are the workouts?

You choose how long you have, from about 15 minutes up to an hour, and how many days a week you can train. The plan is built around that.

I have back, knee or shoulder pain. Can I use it?

You can tell the app about pain or old injuries, and it avoids exercises that put stress on those areas. After each workout it asks if anything hurt and swaps that exercise. The app gives general fitness guidance, not medical advice, so check with your doctor if you have a health condition.

How does the plan adjust?

After each session you answer a few short questions: was it too easy, just right or too hard, and did anything hurt? If it was too easy you can choose harder exercises, more sets or an extra exercise. If it was too hard you can choose easier exercises or fewer sets.

Does it use AI?

AI coaching is optional and the app asks before turning it on. With AI, your exercises are picked around your goals, equipment and any pain, and you can ask your coach questions in your own words. Without AI, the app uses simple built-in rules.

What happens with my data?

There is no account. Your name and workout history stay on your phone. If you turn on AI coaching, your training answers are sent to the AI provider only to fit your training to you — never your name, never sold, and not used for advertising. See the privacy policy for details.

What do I do on rest days?

On rest days the app suggests an easy 15-minute walk or a short stretch. You can also choose a full workout if you feel like it.

Can I swap an exercise I don't like?

Yes. Any exercise can be swapped for an easier or harder version, and you can undo a swap in one tap.

Is it available on Android?

Not yet. Destination Health is available on iPhone.
